Here are some festive Pride cocktails that will surely make your guests have a legendary time!
Easy Cocktail Recipes
Sex on the Beach
She's an icon, she is a legend, and she is the moment! If you are looking for a classic cocktail that will fit well with the summer season, then you can’t go wrong with a Sex on the Beach.
For this recipe, you’ll need:
- Ice
- 1 1/2 of a Vodka of your choice
- 1 oz of Peach Schnapps
- 2 oz of juiced oranges or orange juice
- 2 oz of cranberry juice
- (Optional) cherries and oranges to garnish
Once you have all your ingredients, just fill a glass with vodka, peach schnapps, and orange juice. Then, pour over the cranberry juice and add whatever garnishes you desire. Finally, sip and enjoy!
Daiquiris (Classic or with a Twist)
Much like Sex on the Beach, the daiquiri is another fierce choice. You can customize the recipe to fit your desired tastes.
The basic recipe includes:
- 2 ounces light rum
- 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- 3/4 ounce demerara sugar syrup
- A lime twist to garnish
Must be jelly ‘cause jam don’t shake! For this recipe, you will need a cocktail shaker. You don’t need to invest in a top-of-the-line shaker if you find one that will do the job!
The recipe will ask you to add rum, lime juice, and demerara sugar syrup to a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. After the ingredients are well shaken, strain them into a chilled coupe glass. Finally, add your optional garnish to top it off, henny!
If you want to add more flavor to your cocktail, simply add whatever fruity juice or flavored liquor to your cocktail shaker before shaking it.
For example, if you want to make a watermelon daiquiri, add about 1 oz. of watermelon liquor to your initial recipe and put that in your shaker with your other ingredients.
The Rainbow Cocktail
If you are looking for something a bit more out-of-the-box, try this cocktail that may serve as a childhood throwback!
The Rainbow Cocktail requires:

- 3 oz. Fruity Rice Cereal Milk
To make it, infuse some milk with fruity rice cereal. Mix and refrigerate the drink for 30 minutes. Shake with whiskey and strain into a rocks glass and garnish with whipped cream and the fruity rice cereal.
This might be the gayest drink in herstory, and it’ll throw you right back to early Saturday mornings in front of the TV!
